Passionate and skillful in their chosen profession, Prasad and Maria specialize in fine portraits of children, families and executives. They have become renowned in the field of fine portraiture, and major exhibits of their work have been displayed in many venues. Their outstanding imagery is not only technically superb, but also reveals a romantic painterly quality that captures the heartfelt emotions and expressions of their subjects. They create original portraits that are designed to harmonize with the decor of each subject‰s home. Prasad and Maria often travel to exotic locations to photograph their clients, including a recent trip to Egypt during which they were commissioned by several families to create their Millennium portraits behind the Great Pyramids. They have provided portraits for numerous law and investment firms, as well as photography for the performing arts.

Before opening his studio in 1987, Prasad worked in the performing arts field, including managing the photography department of a public television (PBS) station. He has photographed well-known celebrities including Robert Redford, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Pavarotti and many others. Major exhibits of his portrait work have been displayed at interior design shows in Orange County and Palm Springs, as well as the Atrium Court in Fashion Island, Newport Beach, and Bowers Museum, Santa Ana.

One of Prasad‰s most inspiring projects was a photographic exhibition titled ‹Hands of CompassionŠ produced for a world harmony conference for East West titled ‹Harmonia Mundi.Š The exhibition focused on Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama of Tibet, two world spiritual leaders who have touched the lives of many on this planet and who have fully integrated love and compassion into their own lives. Both have received the Nobel peace prize.

Maria is a gifted artist whose oil paintings have been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States. Since joining Prasad, she has become a real asset to the studio by bringing her artistic painting talent and applying it to the art of photography in a way that is unusual in any photographic studio.
